Itinerary

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – TELOUET – AIT BENHADDOU – SKOURA

The first day of your tour will start from Marrakech, and the road we will take is Tizi N Tishka Mountain pass, which is one of the longest in South Africa. On the way, we will pass by several scattered Amazigh villages along the way to Ait Bean Haddou Kasbah. This Kasbah, Ait Ben Haddou, is one of the old Kasbahs in Morocco and is considered as a world heritage by the UNESCO. Once we are there, in the Kasbah, we will devote some time to explore it and discover its components. Afterwards, we will leave the Kasbah and seek Ouarzazate and from there to Skoura where we will spend our night.

DAY 2: SKOURA – DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES

In the second day of this tour, we will wake up early and breakfast, then we will take our luggage to seek Todgha Gorges. On the way we will pass by the rose Valley with its amazing natural views, we may have a pause there to visit some women co-operatives. Afterwards we will continue via the Dades Gorges, which is also rich and full of things to see. Finally, we will end up in Todgha gorges, and head to the hotel where we are supposed to dinner and spend our night.

DAY 3: TODRA GORGES – TAMTATOUCHT- AMELAGOU – MERZOUGA DUNES (ERG CHEBBI)

In the following day, we will leave Todgha after having a delicious breakfast in the hotel, and seek the dunes of Erg Chebbi via Tinjdadd. On the road we will pass by black mountains which are constructed from volcanic rocks. We will also pass by Erfoud and may stop there to visit the fossil factories if we have enough time to. Afterwards, we will continue to Erg Chebbi. From there, we will keep going until the dunes start to appear and join a local guide who will lead us on camels throughout the dunes and the golden sand to watch admire the sunset. Next we will head towards a tent in the desert to spend our first night in the desert under the clear sky and the beautiful stars.

DAY 4: ERG CHEBBI – MERZOUGA DESERT EXPLORATION

In this day, we will wake up and have our breakfast before starting another journey. Today’s journey will be a tour throughout the countryside of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi.  Among the places we will visit in this tour there is Khamilia and Hassi Lbied. There will be also an amazing garden that contains some beautiful panoramic views; we will stop there to enjoy the moment. Afterwards, we will drive towards Zagoura and Khmilia. In khamilia we will stop to discuss with the inhabitants who are known by their generosity and kindness. Later on, we will seek the high dunes on camels to enjoy the sunset and spend an unforgettable within the golden sand and the shining stars. You will also enjoy some delicious traditional dishes and enjoy the spiritual Amazigh music.

DAY 5: ERG CHEBBI – ZIZ VALLEY – MIDELT – AZROU – IFRANE – FES

The last day of this tour will be a journey to Fez. The day shall start in the early morning to watch the amazing sunrise, and after that, we will ride our camels back to the hotel in Mezrouga to take a relaxing shower and have a delicious breakfast. Next we will leave Merzouga and seek Fez via several Atlas cities and towns. The way to fez is full of panoramic views and amazing places; which means that we will have several pauses to enjoy our journey.
